One of Boise's most exciting and challenging theatrical experiences, to date, was when he landed the role of Mufasa in the German production of Disney's "The Lion King", in which the show was performed completely in German. He also played the evil uncle Scar in the Hong Kong Production of the same.
Boise started his own production company, BOISE HOLMES PRODUCTIONS, in which he writes, directs, and produces vignettes which have been seen around the world including: Japan, Monaco, France, Hong Kong, London, and Germany.

He has starred onstage in roles such as Purlie in Purlie Victorious, Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Walter Lee in A Raisin in the Sun, Jim in Big River (for which he was awarded "Best Actor" by the Thalian Association) and Tony Kirby in You Can't Take it With You. With Boise's portrayal of Othello he won 1st place in National Shakespeare Competition at NY's Lincoln Center for which he was awarded a full scholarship intensive to study at England's Oxford School of Drama. There he portrayed the title role of MacBeth.
